Das ISACA Switzerland wurde in den letzten Jahren mehrfach gekürt! Wir haben diverse Awards für die eigene Website sowie für unseren Newsletter erhalten. 2005 wurde das ISACA Switzerland Chapter als bestes «Very Large Chapter» weltweit gekürt! Für die Jahre 2011 und 2012 erhielten wir erneut den K. Wayne Snipes Award; diesmal als bestes «Very Large Chapter» der Region Europa/Afrika.

K. Wayne Snipes Chapter Recognition Award

Was ist der K. Wayne Snipes Award?

Jedes Chapter muss dem ISACA «US Headquarter» jährlich einen Aktivitätsbericht abliefern, der Details zu folgenden Themen beinhaltet: Mitgliederversammlung, Vorstandssitzungen, Newsletter, Website, Ausbildung, News-Beiträge, Verbindungen zu anderen Vereinigungen, spezielle Aktivitäten für die Mitglieder, etc. Der Jahresbericht wird jeweils nach der Mitgliederversammlung eingereicht und gilt automatisch als Grundlage für das Auswahlverfahren zum besten Chapter in der jeweiligen Grösse und im jeweiligen Erdteil. Seit Ende 2004 gehört das ISACA Switzerland Chapter zur Kategorie der «Very Large Chapter» (> 600). Aus den Gewinnern pro Erdteil wird dann ein weltweiter Gewinner ausgewählt.

Best Very Large Chapter Europe/Africa 2012

Best Very Large Chapter Worldwide 2005

An der Leadership-Konferenz in Las Vegas vom 23. und 24. April 2005 durfte der Delegierte des ISACA Switzerland Chapters gleich zwei K. Wayne Snipes Awards entgegennehmen. Vor rund 200 eingeladenen ISACA-Chapter-Präsidenten und Vertretern aus aller Welt wurde am 23. April der «Regional Award» (Europa/Afrika) sowie weltweit durch den internationalen Präsidenten, Marios Damianides an Bruno Wiederkehr, Vorstandsmitglied des ISACA Switzerland Chapters überreicht.

Best Newsletter Very Large Chapter 2006
Seit Anbeginn gibt unser Chapter einen Newsletter heraus, der die ISACA-Mitglieder und andere interessierte Personen über aktuelle Themen informiert. Ein besonderes Merkmal unseres Newsletters sind die Artikel in verschiedenen Sprachen, vorwiegend Deutsch, manchmal auch Französisch oder Englisch, ausnahmsweise auch Italienisch.
